To my valued patients,
After 35 wonderful years of practicing ophthalmology, I am writing to share the bittersweet news that I am retiring, with my last day being December 31st, 2025.
Since opening Scott & Christie Eyecare Associates, I have had the honor of performing thousands of cataract procedures and offering advanced eye treatments to help patients from all walks of life see their best. It has been rewarding to watch the practice grow with the additions of new doctors, staff, and through our Eye Research Institute, which has established itself as one of the largest and most prominent eyecare clinical investigator sites in the country and world.
I am deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in me and take comfort in knowing the work we’ve started will continue in capable hands. I am confident that Dr. Chris Spearman, Dr. Hamza Pasha, Dr. Matthew Sommers, and the team at Scott & Christie Eyecare Associates will continue providing the excellent care you expect.
Our team is here to help with any questions, record transfers, or any support you need as you continue your eye care. Your patient records will remain securely with Scott & Christie Eyecare Associates unless a formal records request form is completed to transfer them to the doctor of your choosing. This form is readily available from our front desk staff, who are more than happy to assist you with the process. You can also retrieve your medical records by calling us at (724) 772-5420 or visiting the Surgery Center at Cranberry (105 Brandt Drive, Suite 201, Cranberry Township, PA 16066).
I will always cherish the time spent guiding patients through their eye-health journeys, whether it be a single visit or decades of care. Serving each of you has been the greatest honor of my career, and I thank you for the continued trust you place in Scott & Christie Eyecare Associates.
