Tecnis Symfony Lens
Posted by: Scott and Christie Eyecare Associates in Technology
Having Cataract surgery is a common occurrence that will happen to most Americans. It is estimated that there are nearly 4 Million cataract surgeries a year. Scott and Christie Eyecare Associates is proud to offer Tecnis Symfony Intraocular Lenses for the treatment of cataracts. These lenses are the only lenses on the market that have been specifically designed to improve both the range and quality of vision. Here at Scott and Christie, our practice was chosen to be a clinical research site for the Tecnis Symfony IOL. During the studies, the Symfony Lens provided seamless day-to-night vision, it provided a higher quality of vision when compared to other IOL’s, and it also demonstrated a low incidence of halo and glare. The patients in the clinical study who were given the Symfony lens achieved greater improvements in intermediate and near vision, while other IOL’s achieved improvement to only near vision.
If you or a loved one is in need of Cataract Surgery, contact us at Scott and Christie to set up an evaluation. Be sure to ask our doctors about the Tecnis Symfony Intraocular Lens.
If you also would like to participate in any future Clinical studies, please let our staff know and they will be happy to see if you qualify for any of the studies we are participating in.
